About online AP courses?

I'm a very, very ambitious (slightly neurotic, too) and paranoid incoming freshmen. My dream university, since day one, has been Columbia and will always be Columbia. I've recently checked out my course schedule for all four years of high school (I said neurotic) and I realized that I'm only going to have eight AP classes. So I was just wondering, is this going to be enough? I realize that SAT scores, my ECs, and my GPA is going to play the biggest part but I want to do everything I can to get to Columbia. I'm from Washington state (if that matters at all) and I was wondering about websites I could take AP classes, like AP History or Art or other humanities? I'm not even sure if this is necessary, to be honest, I'm sure it can't help, and I'm going to stop rambling now.

You can do self-study by buying prep books and reading them for the test.

I dont see the problem with “ONLY” 8 AP’s. My school only allows us to take 3 per year, and only 2 are offered sophomore year.

Also, art history is not a fluff or joke AP, if you self study it without taking it seriously you will fail.

I only took 8 APs… I thought that was relatively a lot. Most people aewn’t perfect in every subject.

By the end of my high school career, I’ll have taken 5. I’m perfectly O.K. with that too xD
Columbia’s a great school, but knowing that you want to go there now and having the ambition to do it are going to work greatly in your favor.
