<p>The essay specifically asks why you select the major(s) you are interested, so that is the question you need to answer. The question does not ask why you want to study those programs at Hopkins, though many will and can answer that question too. The essay prompt is kept pretty vague to allow applicants to approach their answers in which ever way they want.</p>
