<p>Are we supposed to mention the school? I've been reading the prompt over and over. I think they just want us to talk about our interests, but some people say it is a why johns hopkins essay?</p>

<p>It’s a “why do you want to study this major at specifically OUR university”. So write about your interest in the major and how it connects to how you want to enroll in JHU.</p>

<p>I think it can be taken either way. I just wrote about my academic interests.</p>
