about the TAG

1,
If i sign the TAG ,does it mean I have to go to that university? What I mean is if im also admitted by UCLA ,can I still transfer to UCLA ?

2,
If I sign the TAG ,can I choose my favorite major ?..... or they will arrange me a major ?.....

3,
Does it have any disadvantage if I sign the TAG ? According to the requirment of the TAG , someone can admitted at 3.0 GPA ,but without TAG they will need 3.5 or higher to get in UCSD .why is that?

I’m not sure if I’m understanding your question correctly, but if you apply with TAG to multiple schools, you are not obligated to attend any of them until acceptance, and then Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) afterwards. If you’re admitted into UCLA, you can still decide to transfer there given that you haven’t SIR’ed with another school.

You are required to select the intended major for each campus you are applying to in the TAG application.

There is no disadvantage if you sign the TAG. Yes, you can be admitted as long as you have met the requirements (≥3.0gpa, finished prereqs, etc). And it is not true that you need at least a 3.5 to get into UCSD without TAG. I’m assuming you read something that says something like “a 3.5gpa student may get into UCSD, but there is still a chance of being rejected. With TAG, you are guaranteed admission with a 3.0 or above.”
