My Uncle went to USC so they offered to meet with me to do a personalized transfer plan since they rejected me for this year. Has anyone either done, or know anyone, who did this? Wondering if you take the classes they specify and meet the gpa if that means you're in...or if you are just back in the pile of applicants again. Does anyone know????

You have to get the right GPA and your in. I already made my appointment with the admissions center.

did they tell you that? that would be awesome!!! so they don't look back at your SAT or high school stuff??? did they say what kind of gpa you needed to hit?

i think its a 3.5. if i am not legacy, but want to transfer, is it the same? i'm sure ill have to do slightly more work, but will i be "guaranteed" if i get, say, a 4.0 from a CC?

There is no minimum GPA that "guarantees" you into USC. If you get a 4.0, that would be pretty good though. Also, I would not worry about not being legacy for a transfer, though it of course helps.

If you get 32 transferrable units then your college GPA will matter more than high school gpa or sat scores. Sure they will look at them, but it most likely won't influence their decision a lot.
