I was just accepted as a transfer student to University of Santa Barbara. On the acceptance letter it states "No transcripts may indicate dismissal, probation or other restrictions" My question is that, are they talking about now or since being at a junior college in the past 25 years. Because around 15 years ago I was put on academic probation at a previous college, and the current college I was put on dismissal 2008. Since then I have been in good standing with a GPA of 3.19 (Question #2) Also I took a few class from another college, and when I requested unofficial transcripts nothing came up at all. So should I even send that information to UCSB??? Thanks

It would behoove you to contact UCSB admissions directly rather than relying on the opinion of anonymous posters on this forum. I expect you’ll be ok, but you need to hear that from UCSB.
The UC schools require transcripts from all colleges you attended. There is a database, the National Student Clearinghouse, that they query to check. You saw a blank transcript, but if you don’t send an official transcript how would UCSB know it is blank and that you didn’t omit it to hide something?
