Are my chances to UC's ruined?

Im a business transfer from a CCC with a 2.8 gpa and applying for transfer for fall of 2015. I will have little over 60 units after Spring and pre-requisites complete. I got an email from the UC system that they need my transcripts; however, I attended CSULB for one semester in 2011 and was in academic probation because I stopped attending classes and did not drop. After that I left CSULB without any notice and decided to go to CC. So my question is, will it ruin my chances once I send in CSULB transcript?

Edit: I only applied to UC santa cruz and UC merced

You need to report all grades taken at all colleges/institutions in your application.

You can explain you underwent a change after probation and decided to enroll in CC to better yourself.

Did you include your CSU classes on the app?

If you’ve lied, you’re screwed.

If you were honest, they could just want it to calculate how many classes will transfer or to recalculate GPA on their own.

Oh right… Fall 2015. He already submitted the app. If you didn’t put your CSU grades when applying, I don’t know what you should do.

@Virilux‌ @luckie1367‌ I did report that I attended CSULB, but I don’t remember reporting my grades…

@juice650‌

It wouldn’t make sense to report attending a college without submitting grades. So they will question what you did there.

Perhaps you can email all UCs and say you’ve forgotten to input grades at CSULB?

You HAVE to report all grades taken at all universities. Recheck your app, did you list courses from CSULB?

Why did you not report them?

To be realistic, I am not sure of your chances. You were on academic probation at CSU. Did you do anything on your end to remedy the situation? If you are still on academic probation and your GPA is low, you probably will not get admitted. I’m sorry to say that, but admissions will most likely take the approach that you should have made some attempt to clear it, and you should have addressed it thoroughly in your Nov application. I’m not being judgmental, these things happen, and you move forward. But the fact that you took no steps to remedy it, I think admissions will consider that a reject.

@lindyk8‌ No, I did not notify the CSU. At the time, I was enrolled in 3 classes and passed only one (other two I didn’t drop). One of which was pre-requisites towards business major. I went to CC and took classes, and already passed the pre-requisites that I was taking at the CSU.

Hmm, I don’t know what to say. So you’re saying you retook the classes? If so, be sure to note that when you send them the transcript.

Did you list them with W or F on your UC app?

That is the much bigger issue. The UCs take lying very seriously.

I checked back with UC’s and I did forget to mention CSULB. I remember only putting that on my CSU’s application. And I cleared it with the UC admissions.

Wait, you did or did not include it @juice650 ?

If you forgot, you need to call and email them immediately.

I forgot to include it on my UC application. I already called them and sent them my CSULB transcript, so it’s all cleared. @luckie1367‌
