<p>Grand Canyon University is generating a lot of student interest from their mass media advertising. What do people think of the academic quality, student service and graduate outcomes of the school?</p>
<p>Don’t know much of it. Here’s an interesting article. With virtually all of higher ed’s 5,000 institutions being so-called “non-profit”, they tend to look down their academic noses at proprietary, for-profit colleges like Grand Canyon. My own impression is that is not any reason to not consider it. Frankly some of them are far superior in delivering academic opportunity than many non-profits. But they are not without risk.
