Academic Renewal

My son graduated from HS top of his class. He attended CSUF for two years. His second year at the end of the semester he became ill. Specialists and medication and diet continues. Professors were notified and all but one allowed him to take finals, which he received As. This particular professor accused him of lying and took his case to the board where they decided to give ALL classes failing grades. That semester he received zero for attendance and was removed from the college. Now, 7 years later, he is still struggling to get classes even at the junior college level as they state this will continue to be on his record for 10 years. I have medical records proving he was ill. Doctors that will come forward. He provided this to the Dean of the school board and was still rejected. Question… HOW DOES HE RECOVER FROM THIS and get back on track to complete his degree? Who can assist in rectifying this backlash from a professor? Do I need to hire an attorney?

Since CSUF seems unwilling to work with you, maybe try reaching out to someone at the Chancellor’s office for the entire CSU system.

I will take ANY Suggestions! This is a nightmare and very depressing for my son.
