<p>What do you guys know about the course work at RPI? Not that I am looking to be a slacker, I am just curious what students think of the courses there. Any input would be great. I am a (future) Chem major.</p>
<p>My D is a Chem Eng major. It is not an easy school and there is a lot studying going on over there 
At least that’s what I see from my point of view. For the science and engineering kids - you gotta pick and choose your let down times because for most it isn’t that easy. </p>
<p>But- I’m just a mom- lol.</p>
<p>Chem, and Chem E are completely different. Chem E is harder than Chem. You are an engineering major, so you have to take the engineering slides. Both are difficult as with most majors here. O-chem… very difficult, but everything is manageable. Only advice if you are thinking of engineering, enter as an engineer, its easy to go within the engineering school, or to go to a different school, but to enter engineering is more difficult.</p>
