<p>What's the point of going to a "top" accelerated BA/MD program? You're going to graduate with an MD!?! </p>
<p>While I personally have qualms with all accelerated programs (do a search of posts I've written about accelerated programs), I just can't imagine what could possibly be the problems with graduating from a "lower" accelerated program vs a "top" program...</p>

<p>Frag, that's not the question you originally asked. You asked about accelerated programs only. Harvard doesn't have an accelerated program, so if that (an accelerated program) is what you are really looking for, you'll never be able to get your MD from Harvard.</p>
<p>So if prestige is what you are after (and you're planning on going into one of the few areas of medicine where the prestige of your medical school matters), then your best bet is to avoid most of, if not all, the accelerated programs.</p>
<p>So again, I ask you, what's the point of going to a "top" accelerated program?</p>
