Accelerated Medical Programs

Hey guys, I know this topic has probably been butchered, and butchered but still lol. I was wondering about any advanced medical programs that run perhaps 5-6 years that would work for a citizen of Canada. Could you also list the other requirements.

Also I know most of these programs require applications considerably early, like end of this month or start of next. So if if my SAT's aren't up to par, and I retake after application, how would I inform them? Thanks for your time =)

theres no such thing as a 5 year that would be insane....and i know penn state has a 6 year that you could look up

dabulls is right. No five years, but penn state and UMKC have six year programs. There are also a lot of seven and eight year guarantee programs. This thread might also fit better in multiple degree thread. Unfortunately, I don't know the citizenship requirements for these programs. Check with the schools themselves whether they'd accept scores received after the main application.

penn state doesn't accept any sat score taken after oct 2007,and they only take in 25 ppl every year. So you can imagine how low the acceptance rate is. I think it's harder for an oos student too.

Most programs require you to be a permanent resident or a citizen of the US..sorry.

Thanks for your reply guys. I realize now that there is no 5 year program. I'm not sure if I made a mistake, but most likely it was ignorance. Anyways thanks for your contributions.

I found one here...but I'm a bit confused on one thing...

I guess the thing confusing me is the process. If I apply first to the lower college and then have to wait until the reply comes before going up won't I miss the deadline for the upper?....I'm going to try to call them and see...but thanks again =)
