<p>It's not a scam, and it's perfectly legal. However, does participating in this really show anything about you? Does it really showcase your "advertising" skills? You make it seem so hard, but I personally believe that most CCers can do it too. And besides, you must think to yourself, "Why would these sites be able to offer us free stuff?". The answer is complicated, but typical strategies are harvesting email addresses for spam, collecting survey information, etc. While not too bad, this hardly shows your marketing acumen.</p>
