OH no! What have I done?!

I'm trying not to be melodramatic, but...
I'd like some feedback from current students/ NYU UG admissions/ current NYU prospys/ anyone with some insight. I havent yet recieved my 'formal' acceptance letter from NYU, JUST my GSP invitation (kind of "check the yes box if you want to be offered admission") and an invitation to a Saturday info Session in Washington Square. I know full well that ALL college admissions are contingent on quote 'the continued maintenance of high levels of academic performance.' So here's my problem: I just got a 65 (passing) grade in one of my AP courses. The way my school splits up semesters, this grade is one of three grades that will ultimately be averaged (cumulatively) and in June i recieve a final grade for my transcript. So presuming I stay on the straight and narrow, and pick the grade back up to what it was, I should be OK, right? They're not gonna rescind my acceptance because of this? HELP!

Does anyone know if NYU asks for any kind of Mid-Year school report or the equivalent? I presume they're going to see my grades in June, but by then I'll have paid at least part of my first year deposit. Will that matter? Or is it just As-Long-As-You-Pass-You're-Golden? (I highly doubt this) Please, please, anyone who has any kind of information (other than just specualtion, which is nonetheless aprreciated) reply!

They wont take it away unless you are failing. If you can raise it to a C, I think you will be fine.

Will NYU see this grade, or just the average? Even if they see this, but you picked it up, I think you should be OK.

IT's your final transcript they'll see. Whether you've paid your deposit or not won't be the issue, your grade will. If you fail, chances are you'll be in trouble. Offers get rescinded and kids get placed on academic probation every year. Work hard to pull that grade up!

matth--youre sure?

You'll be fine as long as your GPA doesn't fall below a 3.

65 is passing for you? 70 and up is passing at my school...and if you get below a 75 you lose credit for it being an AP class. weird.

yea 65 is passing (grades dont matter in terms of credit--only granted with grades on the exam)

60 (D-) is passing at my school. To get credit, you need a 73 (a C)
