GPA seems on point, make sure you’re top 10% of your class or an equivalent; UVa really values that. ACT is amazing, you don’t need to worry about that any further. For other top schools, maybe take 1-2 more subject tests to increase your chances there. Take a rigorous senior schedule; this is crucial. All UVa sees when they evaluate their EA applicants are your grades up to junior year and your senior year class SELECTION. I would take 5 or 6 AP’s next year in order to A) Look more rigorous to UVa and B) Prepare and challenge yourself for college better. As for EC’s, they’re okay, but they’ll be fine when your stats are looked at. Try to get a summer internship or win some more awards in something. Make sure your essays are stellar & I think you’d have a pretty decent shot at UVa!
I think that your EC look good. Between the time involved to be a varsity athlete and the orchestra I think they recognize the time commitment. They would rather see you passionate with few activities then dabble in a whole bunch. Your scores look good. Because you are OOS, the rest of the OOS applicant pool will decide the rest. Good luck!
