<p>Hi,</p>

<p>I am very interested in UW and I need to know, what are my chances? I have a 3.7 academic GPA. I had a great freshman year, a horrific soph year and a great junior year. I have taken 5 AP classes so far in high school. I am very active outside of the classroom too. I have played the piano for 9 years, am currently on the basketball team and coach a local little league basketball team. I am also on both the Model UN team and in interact club (Which does community service). I have had multiple jobs as well. Many of my activities involve high levels of leadership and mentorship. With all these credentials do I have a good chance of getting into UW? I also got a 31 on my ACT. </p>

<p>P.S. Does your first semester of senior year go on your transcript or in any way influence if I would be accepted into your university.</p>

<p>I think you definitely have a good chance. Are you in-state?</p>

<p>Some schools look at your first semester, but I’m not sure about UW</p>

<p>It is umweighted. Does being out of state help?</p>

<p>For UW, I don’t think it really matters.</p>

<p>you seem to have a great chance! Your ACT is high and your GPA is slightly above average. make sure to build on your E.C.s in essays and interviews (if there are any).</p>
