My application online says it’s still “processing”. Does it still show that for other people? If not, what does it say for you guys? I applied on October 26th.
Same here.
I applied EA October 1st, have yet to hear back. I am OOS, arts & sciences. Does anyone know why it could be so delayed?
Someone said on another thread that they accept those candidates with high stats. Not sure where you land on that but my D has high grades and ACT but not off the charts like some of the folks here that have already been accepted. I’ve seen a lot of 33+ ACT and 4.0 grades here. I haven’t seen anything below that.
Just so we’re clear, I meant that they accept these folks in EA with those credentials and the rest are either moved to the regular decision stack or are slower in receiving acceptances.
@katmeg I am 35 act, 4.56 or 3.8 GPA, should be a pretty fair bet. just anxious and restless at this point
Then you should have DEFINITELY heard by now, according to what these other threads said. Sounds like they are way off on this conclusion! Bet you’ll have nooooooo problem.
I really hope I get in. My stats are a bit lower for the major I want so I am really worried.
I got my acceptance today!
In state or OOS?
I got my in state acceptance yesterday for Aerospace engineering
Has anyone gotten the actual letter in the mail yet with scholarship info?
Yes - today! Presidential & Honors for Engineering. GO BUFFS! Woo hoo!
@expelliarmus.too would you mind sharing your stats?
I am OOS Arts and Sciences and I was accepted on the 11th. My letter came in the mail today.
I’m OOS and applied September 22nd and have yet to receive a decision? Does anyone know why such a delay?
Just got in OOS. Applied around October 15th and got into the Program in Environmental Design with the Chancellors Scholarship. 35 act, 3.7 weighted gpa.
My son applied way back in August, I believe, when the Common Application opened up. Of course he had to get in his transcript, counselor rec and standardized test scores, which came somewhat later, but he has to be one of the earliest applicants – and still no decision for him. But his stats are below the midpoint of the published GPA and standardized test scores. I’ve not heard of anyone in his “stat range” being admitted/rejected/deferred yet. So I have to think that these earliest admissions decisions coming out are for the “high stats” applicants, and even then, it takes some time for that to dribble out (as I have seen some high stats people on CC who have not yet heard a decision). Hopefully the pace of the decisions will pick up in short order…
I got deferred having a SAT score in the mid range @lakeviking they want my first semester grades.
Well it appears the decisions being made are not limited to the higher stats applicants, based on Chuckiem’s post and my son’s acceptance today. S did not get accepted into the college he requested, but was accepted into Arts & Sciences. We are OOS.
