Acceptance Decisions

I got my letter today; I got the Chancellor’s and Honors for Arts and Sciences.

I got my acceptance into Pre-Engineering last Friday, I applied October 26. I haven’t gotten any info about scholarships yet.

Heard from Leeds - they want my first semester grades before they will issue my decision. Does that mean I have to get straight As? Any one know what criteria they are looking for?

Same exact thing happened to me, I’m not applying to Leeds tho. I’m assuming near straight A’s (what I’m pushing myself for) is what they want to see depending on your GPA, scores, and transcript.

@expelliarmus.too on the Honors for Engineering did you apply for it or just received it?

What was your gpa and testing scores? hoping to get into Leeds

Has anyone heard from Leeds yet?

My daughter just heard this afternoon! It doesn’t indicate which school but she’s so happy!

@katmeg when did she apply? also, do you mind sharing her stats (GPA/SAT)

She applied Oct. 24. ACT 29 (superscored to 30)/ GPA 3.87.

My son was just accepted into the College of Arts & Sciences as a Physics major. He sent in his application around November 12th

ACT 35 superscore (36 on STEM subjects)
GPA 3.7 weighted (92.49 average)
4 AP courses

Out of State

Congratulations, @dadinnyc and others who have already been accepted!! My S didn’t apply until the 15th, so I expect we’ll have to wait a while longer.

For those who have visited campus, it would be great to hear your impressions of campus. We are on the east coast and won’t visit until we know that he’s been accepted.

@jmek15 I am from the east coast as well! I have family in Boulder so i have spent a decent amount of time visiting. They actually live about 5 minutes from campus, so I’ve been able to experience many things that are in walking distance to campus. In terms of the campus itself, it is just as pretty as the pictures! Its nice, up-to-date, and not too big. I fell in love with the campus before i even knew anything about the school and just knew i had to apply. A lot of students use bikes on campus, and if I’m remembering correctly you are able to rent bikes to use, and There are plenty of other resources for students on campus(they even have a bowling alley!). My favorite part of the entire campus is their rec center. It has a great gym,6 basketball/volleyball courts, an ice rink, 4 pools, a rope climbing wall, and an indoor turf field. The area around is also very nice. Not too far from campus is the pearl street mall, where you can find many different shops/restaurants.

@jmek15 I visited the campus in February and I absolutely loved it. It is as beautiful as the pictures; being able to look at the Flatirons while walking around was incredible. It was very walkable and it didn’t seem as big as it looks on the map. We also got to eat lunch at the dining hall and the food was surprisingly good. There were lots of options and I think it was better than any other college food I’ve had. The facilities were great and new. I absolutely loved it!

I found out two days ago that I was accepted into the major of film studies!! I applied late October.

I applied to Leeds the first week of October with a 32 ACT – bad at math but a 34 on every section other than math, and a 3.2 unweighted GPA at a very competitive high school with mostly honors classes.

Still haven’t heard back… Should I be concerned? I’m OOS.

Just got into Leeds OOS

Got accepted to Pre-Engineering, OOS
