Same for me, it was a thank you letter for a donation.

^D91UND where do you live? and it was a big envelope?

I live in Granger IN…10 min away from campus…yes its a big white envelope!!

congrats to all that get in - it is an awesome place - check out the thread “anybody got questions.” read through and see any answers that you might have-we have covered a lot of things - if you have any new questions ask away

@D91UND. Dude. What does the envelope say in the exterior; does it say “Welcome to Notre Dame…” or something similiar. Not sure, how long is wait for me. I’m from TX.

anyone know, how long the letter would take to reach Texas–south central texas, that is.

i live near phila in pa and im guessin everyone in the continental us will get their letter either tomorrow or monday. im just praying i get in…i honestly don’t know what to expect

I’m international, but I haven’t received an email yet. My friend in my school received an email; rejection, unfortunately.

Perhaps I’m getting a little late since I was deferred EA…and my friend was just RD.

My son was accepted EA and the big white envelope had the Notre Dame gold crest in the corner but didn’t say anything on the outside. Inside the envelope, there was a “congratulations” letter and a folder that says “Welcome Home” on it. Good luck to everyone.

If I see a large white envelope with the words “Notre Dame” on it, I think I’ll just drop to my knees and thank God.

I don’t know what to expect anymore after being waitlisted by BC.

If you’re waitlisted by BC it’ll be tough to get into ND…keep on praying!

I’m trying…I do have a sister at ND though, so the little help that gives me will hopefully get me in…I’d do anything to go to ND. Ultimately, if I do not get in, which I hope doesn’t happen, I will try to transfer there after Freshman year.

what are your stats?

GoldenDomer - I realize that ND is your dream school, but just from experiences of friends with the same mentality that you do about transferring into ND after freshman year - if you have that mindset going into whatever college you are going to attend, life will be miserable. You need to have an open mind at whatever college you attend and make the situation work. Who knows, you might meet some amazing people and get amazing opportunities.
