Acceptance into EOP?

How do you know if you have been accepted into the EOP at a certain campus?
Is it buried somewhere in the admin packet or is that something you won't know until you SIR?

Im wondering too ^

Usually it happens after SIR, at UCLA (where EOP is called AAP) transfers sign up in their first fall quarter or in the summer if they attend a transitional summer program.

EOP is a waste of time, nothing like the ones in CC. There’s no early enrollment dates etc…atleast at UCLA.

As a member of AAP ( EOP equivalent) I disagree that EOP is a waste of time. AAP does provide supplemental services such as counseling and tutoring and even preparation to grad school. There are scholarships and research opportunities only available to AAP members.

However I do have 2 criticisms of AAP

1) to get advantage of most of he services you have to come as a Freshman, Unfortunately we transfers get the short end of the stick (especially with tutoring).

2) There is a strong north campus (humanities) bias, the fact that Campbell hall (AAP headquarters) is located at the north side of UCLA explains that AAP is geared more towards humanities majors. As a South Campus (STEM) major, I again feel I’m getting the short end of the stick.
