<p>What exactly is AAP, and how do you get in it?</p>
<p>I was told at the AAP orientation back in May that you can sign up for it at orientation. Your orientation has already passed, but I imagine that you can go to UCLA any day to sign up for it if you head to the AAP office and ask for an application form.</p>

<p>The only reason it really even crossed my radar is because they have separate academic counseling from the “general population”. I’m all about anything that gets me into a smaller pool if students </p>
<p>I don’t know what the <em>exact</em> criteria are, but they generally target minority and/or low-income students.</p>
