Hello to all! I just have one simple question- are we supposed to recieve some sort of acceptance package? I received a letter stating that I got into UT Austin, but no accepted student package or anything like that (with a "next steps" checklist, information about the school, etc). I understand that most of the information is available on the web. Does UT Austin just send letters to their accepted students? Thanks in advance!

Just a letter, yes.

Most of your post-acceptance steps need to be done on Be a Longhorn.

That's what I figured. I was just a bit disappointed. I guess its better for the environment, though :).

hey kikib, I'm from VA too

I was wondering... do they post the acceptances online? or did you find out through the letter?

Also... when did you apply?

thanks.

I'm pretty sure they update your Be a Longhorn status immediately, so that you can pay your enrollment deposit, housing, etc.
