Acceptance Letter?

hey everyone,
if i got a letter inviting me to some sort of open house thing for the college of engineering does that mean im in the school??

thank you in advance for your replies!

Yeah, probably.

i got the same one!
might be seeing you there
congrats

That would be it. Congrats!

sunkist and RJH, where do you live?

I got one too, its from the HSSEAS; it says more will come in a formal letter of admission from the Admit Office so it sounds like its an acceptance.

We should meet up :P

Got this also, can anyone else confirm that this indeed means acceptance? Because when I first read it, I thought it was really ambiguous...

I'm from LA

i got his also, just today in the mail. it guess its just for engineering students. It says " More information about your acceptance will be contained in a formal letter of admission from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Relations with Schools in mid to late march." so im guessing thats it final. im in!

I got one too. Did yours say that the EE major is filled so they put you into another major? They placed me in material engineering. :(

yeah, i'm from southern CA
but that has nothing to do with it
it's cuz we're applicants to the HSSEAS, and there's an event on april 9th, so they had to get an informal acceptance letter out so people can schedule to make that event

no it didnt say that, drkshadow25. sorry. thats part of the reason why i applied to electrical engineering, because it is the most demanded one, i can always transfer out if i dont like it.

Yeah, Electrical Engineering gets a ton of applications...

i got in too! computer science!

Question:

If I applied to UCLA in-state as an engineering major, and I didn't get one of those letters today...

...should I immediately assume the worst? :P

I didn't get one of those letters. I live in Northern California, so I'm hoping that its on its way.

civil engineering over here, cheaa

Congrats everyone! :)

I just got it today for EE, so if you're in northca don't worry, check your mail boxes!

mail or EMAIL?
