They (NMH) also had the coolest way of notification....they sent an e-mail and when you opened it you heard music played by their World Music Ensemble and "congratualtions" appeared on the page in several different languages. Then, after a loud clash of cymbals, there was a vid clip of a group of students cheering.

Well, yeah, but it's the only place my son wanted to go. His older brother went and absolutely loved it; he already felt like it was "his" school.

There is a piece of sticker in Hotchkiss one.

Just a piece; not the entire sticker??

"Just a piece; not the entire sticker??"

loll :D

My D had 2 envelopes:

Andover: Standard folder with inserts; FA rejection (ugh, oh well) but a personalized congrats letter from an athletic coach. Also as a nice touch...each of the last 2 days she has gotten a personalized postcard from one or more of the athletic team "captains" welcoming her to the "big blue".

Governors: Standard folder with inserts: FA rejection (again, ugh), decal, fridge magnet, and small pennant. Also a very personalized acceptance letter from Dir. of Admissions. They obviously took strong notes from reference letters and the interviews. Since getting the packet, also a form letter from president.

Needless to say...both schools are a class act.

Good luck all

lol I mean one sticker...
btw what do you mean by ENTIRE? What can be said as entire tho?

Yea, i also liked the exeter congrats ribbon.

Deerfield did not have a folder. They just put the documents in into a FedEx box. Nevertheless, there were personal handwritten notes to me!

Did you guys get a bunch of letters after from the headmaster, tour guide, faculty members, etc...?

i know this is a bit off topic
but do anyone of you know
how much applicants exeter has
and how many students they accept for the ninth grade?

My son received personalized, handwritten notes from the adcom, head of fa, and head of the school as well as congratulatory phone calls from the soccer coach and the adcom.
