<p>Apparently upon acceptance we will receive a "plaque"

since many of you have probably already gotten yours, I was wondering if you could let me know a little about the timeline...</p>

<p>I received a letter saying a cadetship has been reserved for me contingent upon medical qualification, and I have recently been medically qualified.</p>

<p>How long should it take for me to get my official acceptance? Also, some people have been talking about instructions fill out a card or go buy boots (apparently from some kind of packet)... will this packet come with the plaque? And one of the posts said some action must be taken before May 1... if I don't have a packet by then what should I do?</p>

<p>The plaque isnt really a plaque more of a leatherbound folder with a certificate in it (but its still nice). As for the packet it all comes with the plaque. I dont know how long it will take for you to get this but don't worry about the dates things are do. Many people get late acceptances and are in the same situation you are in. My advice is to get the stuff back to addmission asap and you should be fine. And for the boots and such that is all explained in the packet</p>

<p>I don't have boot info yet. You have to accept the appointment first.</p>

<p>The boot info is online at your candidate website, which maye take time be updated (if you call it might speed up the process). It also has some other things you need to fill out.</p>

<p>I think I got my appointment "plaque" about 3 weeks after i was cleared by DODMERB in february.</p>
