Acceptance/Rejection Letter

HAH! I knew it. stoopid. We're back at square 1. And btw, doesn't GW serve as the perfect anti-ivy psa? Why do any of you strive for that?

I COMPLETELY AGREE. he's ruined both schools' reputations in my opinion.

o lmao. Look at me with no sense of humor :P

it's all good. hey, you got into nyu, right? nothing matters after that :)

haha. thanks :P.

Uh-oh no sense of humor! NYU be warned!

but StevenWheatland, you don't exactly have one either, so... :)

That smiley face at the end doesn't make the comment any more acceptable.

I was attempting to soften the blow. My apologies. Next time I'll be 100% cold.

Go for it all or don't go at all.

good point.

in that case, you're also stupid.

and you smell.

That last part is illogical, we're talking through a computer and conratulations, we've made an otherwise useless thread get to three pages.

I was merely utilizing the sense of humor that I alone, apparently, possess.

and thank you ever so much for insulting my thread.

but hey, "conratulations", to quote you, to you too.

I've been trolling a lot lately. And I think you insulted your own unfrotunately, but it's a lot more interesting now.

thank you for that indirect compliment.

Well, noone said anything about the rejection letter because they're all smart and have moved on. The rejection letter basically said that it was the most competitive year ever for ED and best of luck with any other academic pursuits. Pretty generic.

^ Posts with real, substantial answers aren't allowed on this thread.

When I said "they're all smart and have moved on" I meant those who have been rejected are all smart and have moved on while I decide to check up on the NYU forums instead of finishing some applications.

i may cry when i get rejected to my number one, plus like kill myself

Yeah, there is nothing stopping you from going into a state of depression. I certainly was. It's no help to hear other people tell you that everything happens for a reason also, trust me I know. I've accepted it though and if I don't end up at any one of my other top picks and end up at a state school (Rutgers) or something similar, I can always transfer after one year. Just do your best not to build it up in the weeks before the decision comes out. That's what I did. If at all possible, try to block this site on your computer, lol. Also don't even look at NYU housing. Christ almighty, worst mistake of my life. Good luck!
