I was admitted to UCR for biochemistry on February 1st.
I have a 3.8 average GPA and my 7th semester report card GPA was a 4.33.
I'm taking half AP/IB courses and half regular courses.
I think that it's a possibility that I may have an F (since my school has no D's; we only have A B C F) in AP Calculus for my 8th semester and have all A's for the rest of my grades.

Does UCR revoke admissions even if the course is technically a math elective?
I already finished my A-G requirements and taking AP Calc was not a necessity.

Does UCR often revoke acceptance over failing classes that aren't required to graduate?

YES. you should watch out for that. 12% of admits got rescinded because they had D’s or F’s in one of their classes, even if those classes aren’t required. Try to boost up your grade to a C- so your acceptance don’t get revoked.

…they really shouldn’t. if they do, that’s so messed up. you should also try talking to your biochem teacher. some teachers are surprisingly understanding. one of my friends earned a D in chorus but her teacher boosted her up to a C because he didnt want to be the reason she got rescinded, given that all her other grades were good.

Just as a reply to x8equalsDtilde, it’s not messed up because once you are accepted into a college, you are expected to maintain a fair GPA and keep within the standards the school sets up. Getting a grade below a C in any class, even after acceptance, breaks the admissions requirements for ALL UC schools.

Your admission will be revoked if a F shows up on your transcript

My advice: talk to your teacher/counselor. I know at my school if we’re failing an AP class, we can usually switch out by talking to our counselor. Also, maybe you could persuade your teacher into boosting your grade?
