My admission is going to be revoked. Is there anything I can do?

So I sent UCR admissions office an email about a month back that I had failed first semester AP Calculus AB and thought it was going to be fine because I am majoring in biology. Today, they informed me that my admission will be revoked unless I can make up that grade, THERE ARE TWO MORE WEEKS LEFT OF SCHOOL. I have no idea what to do and I’m panicking, I see now that it was foolish of me to believe that this wouldn’t affect my admission. Should I go and speak with admissions, or should I just go to community college? Also, if I do go to community college do I still have a chance of being accepted again into UCR? Thank you for your help.

Make a plan TODAY to make calculus up in the summer at a local college, then immediately contact your admissions officer. Be proactive and you may save your admission.

What is your grade for 2nd semester? You can validate your 1st semester F with a 2nd semester grade of C or higher.
From UC website:
The second semester of a course validates the first semester of that course or lower-level a course, even if the first semester course was at the Honors, AP/IB or College-level.

I would still call admissions and ask if you get a C or higher 2nd semester will your admission be in jeopardy or do as @Sue22 states and make it up this summer in a local CC.

I dropped the class second semester, and the email specified that I could only make up the grade if it is completed by my graduation date.

I would still admissions and talk to an advisor to see which kind of options you have to makeup the class.

Yeah, I’m planning to go personally tomorrow to speak with an advisor. However, I do not know what I could possibly say so they can reconsider their decision to allow me more time.

Did you end up going talking to an advisor? If so, did they offer anything?
