finally got into Arts and Sciences!!! :)

i got waitlisted in the arts......whats the deal???

ACT: 31
GPA: 3.75 w
from VT

bahhhh so upset.

your gpa is 3.75 W and their average is 3.7 UW
good luck though

Admitted at the faculty of science for u1 with a CEGEP CRC of 31.3.

Probably going to do math honours.

got in.. faculty of arts :)

i m from cananda.so.wondering if any of you were required to self-report your grades? And also, cuz i transferred school twice, but my transcript from the school i m attending has all the grades from 9-12, but the app checklist shows that they need transcripts from the other schools.this happened to anyone?

Charlotte08,

Do you mean that I will need to have a 91% average to get into McGill?

christinawang,

i had the same problem where they did not seem to accept the transcript from my previous high schools, but it turns out they didn't need my 9-10 records (from my two previous high schools) just my graduating gr.11-12 records from my current school. The thing is that they did not tell me until i sent them numerous e-mails about it and had my counselor e-mail them too. It may be different for other provinces but they said since i was from BC they did not need extra transcripts.

smallprint.i m from BC too.so it means that everything is fine.they will figure it out when they start reviewing the transcript right?

ya i guess so since the transcript has all the marks on it.

have you self reported yet?

not yet.but i will do so ASAP.since it s mandatory i think.btw.which city and school are you from? is mcgill your first choice?

I'm pretty sure that I'll be attending McGill in September :)

Although I'm having doubts to whether I should make the move since my family would like me to stay in BC and attend UBC.

If I were you I would stay put. British Columbia is so much more beautiful than Quebec. The Mount Royal next to McGill isn't anything special, but in B.C. you have mountians, huge-ass trees, and some nice coast line to boot. I'm sure you'd miss it if you left.

If I were you I would:

Visit McGill and Montreal.

Talk with my parents. Talk with recent alumni of both schools.

Make my own mind up without worrying about opinions on college discussion boards. You cant make a wrong decision with your options.

where do i find out .

Decision:

Reviewed - Decision Pending

is that an in ?

no, an in is "accepted pending final results"

then is mine a good sign ?

^I got it and I got in, but I know someone in my town who also had it and was rejected.

It really doesn't tell you anything... but just keep in mind that just about everyone on CC that got it got in so if you're here it's probably a good sign.
