<p>I think the biggest predicting factor of whether you get in or not is your Umich GPA.</p>
<p>Subtracting all other parts of your application, just look at your Umich GPA. (Sophomore and Junior years only, take off all + and -, 4.0 = A, 3.0 = B, 2.0 = C)</p>
<p>Less than 3.5 - Extremely low chance
3.5-3.7 - Fair chance
3.8 - Good chance, seems to be the happy medium
3.8+ Excellent chance</p>
<p>Although course load is an important factor, time and time again it seems that the Umich recalculated GPA is crucial. Several people from my school with 3.9/4.0 UM GPAs but zero or one AP classes got in, and they had 26s on their ACTs. Overall, not very strong applicants, I mean they practically made life easy with their schedules, but they got in.</p>
<p>It seems strange that no one posted a decision today considering its a normal friday...has anyone heard today of a decision???</p>

<p>ACCEPTED!..TO LSA. I checked a lot yesterday and there was no decision. When I checked first thing this morning (a Saturday) I found my acceptance and congrats! A letter will arrive shortly! All my forms were received on 11/6!
