<p>edit: no offense, sorry if I offended you but some other guy posted how he got deferred in-state with a 3.6 and a solid SAT score...not intended to insult you but I was just wondering if there were anything extraordinary that happened..</p>

They mail defferals so if you got deffered a letter will be mailed home. It wont show up on wolverine access.</p>

<p>While it is rare that someone with that low of a GPA gets in, think about it...GPA is not by any means equal at all schools. I go to a decent school, but I know schools where my 3.8 GPA would only be worth a 3.5, and other places where it would be worth a 4.0+. I'm sure a school as competitive as Michigan would look at this. Who knows if this kid went to some crazy magnet school or a urban school/school in the middle of nowhere?</p>

<p>So, I got the fourth email 13 days ago, even though I'd sent my app in 10/31 (and it was probably complete by then as I'd sent everything else already). It said to wait 2 weeks, so I have been waiting...but I now see people with apps completed 11/7 have their decisions.</p>
