I got rejected, my stats were
1820 SATS
94.2 uw 98 w gpa

extra currics in a nutshell:
principal clarinet- merit positions in district festivals
baritone and alto saxophone in jazz band
year abroad to Turkey- speak fluent Turkish
tutored Turkish girl in English
50 hrs community service with foreign disabled children in Istanbul
French Honors Society
Writing Center- tutoring center for people who need help with writing
civil rights team

great essays and letters

haha was harrassed for months by these people to apply and then I get rejected? I wasn't really interested in Tulane but applied because of the simplicity of the application. I have a feeling Tulane didn't expect this type of turnout in applicants.

Tulane should make a big waitlist because if they accept all the people with 2400s and 4.0s, they will go to better places

yeah i feel like the reason why the majority of the people applied was because of the free/no essay application, not because of the school.

Accepted (with 17,000 per semester merit scholarship)
act-28
gpa- 4.0 uw
rank- 5% (i was just given a percent)
ec's-2 time national champ dance team, varsity tennis, numerous clubs and organizations with leadership positions (sorry thats vague i just don't feel like typing it out right now.)
2 of 3 AP's that my school offers and 9 -11 honors (depending on if you count the AP's which are on the honors grading scale)

i think i got in and my scholarship is because i'm instate

waitlisted

30 ACT
1950 SAT
3.4 GPA
6APs

cbrdlik- you got in because of the guaranteed acceptance thing for instaters like ourselves (you need a 28 act and 3.7 gpa, if I recall correctly) (not that you wouldn't have otherwise not gotten in).

someone should start a new thread for accepted/rejected/waitlisted people with their stats and stuff

I got waitlisted, and I also hoped to visit prior to making my decision. I'm accepted at Northeastern, early, and deferred at Georgetown. My stats are SAT 2110, 670 M, 770E, 670 writing, ACT 28. 3.4 GPA. Community Service focus, which is why I wanted to go to Tulane. Fingers still crossed.

It turns out they never got my SAT scores, so my file is still incomplete. Hopefully that will get squared away soon, I contacted them to tell them I sent them a while ago (Jan 4) and that I would send them again if they couldn't located them. This happened to me in like 5 other instances, schools love losing my SATs for some reason haha.

Tulane lost my son's transcript twice (his counselor has the registered letter signature to show they were delivered both times) so his application was pushed to RD from EA. Others from his school with similar stats got in EA; he's been wait-listed. Frustrating!
