Acceptances

I hope they make it to the Cheese State by tomorrow, I don't want to have to wait until Monday. Good luck to all and congrats to you amdamdrew (I like to rhyme). I don't know what to think, I've stopped trying to predict decisions. I've been accepted at NYU and Marquette, so at least there is a bit less pressure this time around.

I guess it's possible that it'll get to Atlanta tomorrow if they sent mine yesterday. Best of luck to you all. Hopefully I get something tomorrow, i just want to hear my decision already.

My son has a fairly fat number 10 sized envelope from Georgetown that arrived in today's mail. He's on a spring break trip and asked me to let him open his own college mail, so I won't know what the G'town envelope contains til he gets home Sunday. We're very close to G'town--about 10 miles away...

I'm sure if it's rather large then he got in. Congrats! I am freaking out though...

Yes I got in! Not too sure where I'll be going, so I have to look at my other results first. The $42,000 definately caught my eye, but I know all top schools have prices in that range. GTown's just the first acceptance I've received from a top school.

congratulations to everyone!!

Our mail comes to Maryland but we live in South America. We got two envelopes, my sister said, so we felt good about that. We all got on the phone including my daughter who's a sophomore at Georgetown while my sister read the letter. The second envelope was the financial aid offer. The letter was dated March 24 and came today.

Do you think they will get to WI by tomorrow? Man i sure hope so...it's gonna be pretty close.

All i know is I dont want to wait until MONDAY!

I GOT IN!!!!! i live in MD letter was postmarked on the 24th...it is a business type envelope but slighty thick scared the SH** out of me lol im sooo excited...sad part is NOT A DIME of financial aid :( so i probably will not attend

congrats everyone! Yeah, the financial aid part is always the bad part, lol. I got a grand total of $250 for this year. However, my parents can pay part of it, and I have a loan so we make monthly payments on that, etc, and it's actually not that bad, at least in my case. So, just remember guys, if this is where you really want to be, there should be ways for you to get the money that you need. Call the financial aid office and see what they say too, it always helps(you should have a specific advisor i think).

Wisconsin kids-
I'm from Minnesota, and I doubt we'll be getting ours tomorrow- which sucks because I'm going to Mexico on Sunday, and I'd like some reason to celebrate while I'm down there.

When I got my EA Decision, it took 2 mail days (I'm skipping Sunday) to get to mich, so I'm hoping for my finaid packet tomorrow.

Good luck to all you prospective Hoyas!

tansytroll, I'm waiting for the mail to get to Texas as well! Hope it comes soon!

ohhhh....please please PLEASE come tomorrow!!!!!
