YEAH LONG ISLAND,lol. What part are you from? On my floor, we have 3 long islanders, including me. We have a lot of people from Garden City too.

hey Harvardhopeful, if you forgot to do some financial aid stuff, call the Finaid Office, or they'll call you. That's what happened with me last year. I didn't finish all the finaid stuff, b/c i knew i wouldn't get any, so they called and said that any time i feel like i need help, i can call the office. So i finished everything, and got a whopping $250. lol, but you never know.

i was also accepted to SFS from long island!!!!!

I am in Oregon... nothing yet!

I got in on Friday (from NoVa). The envelope was small and somewhat fat, and the financial aid statement, which was better than I had expected, came separately.

Waitlisted but got Wash U and Middlebury so far.

rejected. how wonderful.

Is it a bad sign to have not heard today? I live in Northern NJ and I noticed people in NJ found out today... and it seems like practically everyone who found out got in. Do they send acceptances priority and rejections/waitlists regular mail? If so I'm screwed...

Pre1321, I live in N. Jersey as well, but didn't receive anything in the mail..= ( I hope this isn't a bad sign.. I'm also waiting to hear from Northwestern.. ehhh I hate this anxiety!

Maybe we can find out by trying to sign into the GAAP website. Technically if you got in you should be able to log into the website whether you got the mail or not... how are they going to know when you get the letter? I tried checking once, and I put in the wrong ID by one number and I saw "Student not in GAAP" and freaked out for a couple seconds until I realized I made the typo... I'm not going to do it with the real ID, too scared now.

I live in northern NJ and got rejected, unfortunately.

I go to a Jesuit High School and I'm a legacy, but it will be OK. I'm going to Cornell.

rejected as well. ah well, i'm cool with it

accepted in massachusetts. this is my first acceptance so i'm pretty stoked for the next bunch of envelopes. and to pre1321, if it seems like most people on here are getting accepted so far, its only because the kids on this website are probably more qualified and interested than your average applicant. and besides, if you dont get in, youre less likely to want to post something. anyways good luck to all those waiting!
