Thank you Rousse. I need that at this point haha. This is getting beyond nerve-wracking…

Last time I checked at 3:30 p.m. Mountain time I was still processing. Now I can’t get in either. I met with my college counselor at 4:00 and he said none of his students (all in-state) had gotten their decision yet. But he said CU Boulder does this same this every year . . . . (without the new system thrown into the mix)

So there’s still hope, right?

Yep. We are not alone!

There is definitely hope! Do not despair! I think you will get good news!

I am a bit afraid of the whole “admit, admit admit, okay we’re done? deny the rest” since everyone who has heard has heard good news and no one has seen a denied status.

Rousse: Congrats! CU is actually VERY good when it comes to Aerospace Engineering, in fact I think they are one of the tops in the country. CU also gets the most funding out of any university by NASA and I assume they have many ties as well. Once again congrats!

The portal is back up again, but I’m still being processed!

Thanks, ckl22… Appreciate your sentiments…My son is happy about his acceptance… He wants to go to CU and he thinks there will be a lot of opportunities in the aerospace engineering department…Which department will you be in?

By the way, I am originally from NJ even though I now live in California… Where do you live in NJ, clk22?

Nice! I have a friend who majors in Aero. Engin. as well and loves it! I currently live in Upper Saddle River, but go to a private school up in New England. Kind of wish I was in Cali right now with all this snow we’re getting hit with :(. Oh and almost forgot…I’d like to major in Journalism and maybe due a minor in Envi. Science. I’d love to write for National Geographic one day haha.

Very impressive, ckl22! Saddle River is the same county I was from… I was from Dumont, ever hear of that? What state are you in, in New England? Are you definitely coming to CU? My son is really looking forward to going to CU although he will have to get used to the snow being as he has grown up in Los Angeles his entire life! He loves to snowboard so he will be very happy! Good luck to you! National Geographric would be lucky to have you…

The good news is that I just got off the phone with the admissions people and they promised that the problems are all technology related and that all decisions have been made. They also said that because of “technical” issues, they have had to post decisions in an order that has no relationship to when an application was received or “decisioned”. Thus, the lack of a posting is not “meaningful” as a bad or good sign.

The bad news is that the campus is hosting some “brilliant high school juniors” today and most of the admission counselors/people that update the system are “in and out” today, and thus . . . .

I got in!!! (: (: I got in! I’m so excited,… but guys… might want to know: when I called, they said my application had gotten filed under regular rather than early, so you might be in the same boat? Emerica and CFL1991, you guys heard anything?! Fingers crossed >.<

OH NO!!! Another thing to worry about!! Congratulations Lizzle! It sounds like they had your decision ready despite the fact that you were “misfiled” in the Regular Decision pile???

Oh no! I didn’t mean to worry you guys further! well I’m holding my breath for you and Emerica! Let me know as soon as you know you’re in! And CU next fall! haha…

I got into the Liberal Arts school, which is nice BUT I was planning on doing something with Computer Engineering/Science and my parents don’t want to spend 40k a year for me to maybe transfer in :-/

Congratulations Emerica, but sorry about Engineering. I still haven’t heard anything. Did get your decision through MYCUBOULDER?

I checked at 11:30 and saw then they called at about 12 (eastern)

aww, Emerica, that sucks So whats your options? whats your favorite now? anyway your parentsx might change thier minds?

CFL1991: gl >.<
