ACCEPTED. afterwards?

okay.
so i got accepted.
and i'm sooo afraid that i'll start slacking.. lol
i've been a straight-A student with no single B in highschool
do you guys think that getting several Bs would hurt?

A few Bs probably won't hurt. I know I got several second semester senior year. However, you probably don't want to go from straight As to straight Bs.

=x
Uh Oh.

Actually, don't worry about the As as much as cranking on your AP tests. I highly recommend you knocking out 4s and 5s -- it'll only give you more options when you get to Y -- e.g. you spend a semester abroad. Rather than taking a full load of classes, you take 2 or 3 and really enjoy the country to its fullest.

I think it would take a lot to have your acceptance revoked. I can't imagine that straight Bs would do it. If you're on the hunt for outside scholarship money, you'll want to keep your grades up, however.

Yeah, AdmissionsAddict is probably right. Straight Bs probably wouldn't get your acceptance revoked.

If you were to ask an admissions officer (this came up last year), they'd say that they expect you to maintain a similar standard of performance... that is, not straight As to straight Bs. With that said, i got my first B in one class in my senior spring, and nobody bothered me about it.
