i was accepted to University of Pittsburgh today and it said that i was accepted to the College of Arts and Sciences with an intended major in Pre-Physical Therapy. I really want to do physical therapy, but there is no major for that or in that category in Arts and Sciences. I am just confused what classes I would take...can anyone help?

Physical therapy is a graduate program. After compleiting your undergraduate degree, you can get a doctor of physical therapy degree in Pitt’s three year graduate program.

The pre-physical therapy program is an undergraduate programn that prepares you for entrance to the graduate program. http://www.oafa.pitt.edu/pdf/infosheets/PRE-PHYSICAL_THERAPY.pdf

okay thanks so much! that link really cleared it up for me

Hi, I’m a Peer Advisor at Pitt. If you’re interested in going into physical therapy, make sure you bring this up with your advisor during your first appointment. They’ll be able to guide you to an appropriate major and class selection.

thanks so much! i will make sure and do that

Has anyone else been called by PITT lately? The past two days they have called me but I couldn’t answer and am curious what they were calling for/about. Just wondering if anyone else was called by PITT and what it was about.
