But I read somewhere that if people sent in declines to register before the deadline,
they start accepting people on the waitlist?
Well, I’m on the waitlist, and UCD is absolutely my top choice school. 
And, if at all possible, I’d like to know sooner rather than later if I will be able to attend!</p>

you know what to do! ;D</p>

<p>I’m in the same boat as sweetlacecharm. I’m more than likely rejecting Davis (not because it’s a bad school or anything, it just doesn’t offer what I’m looking for), so there will be at least one spot open in the future :P</p>

<p>I got accepted to UCD but i think i will be attending UCI, mainly because UCD is soooooooo far away 
I still haven’t sent in my decline though…mainly because i’m still having second thoughts.
But if know there is someone that is waiting for my rejection to get in, then i’ll just reject it sooner…i think</p>

umm, I don’t have much to say to you except that your comment was rude on SO MANY LEVELS. I don’t think that they were being obnoxious at all, rather I feel like you were. what if their form of “going and being happy” is posting their accomplishments on this forum…on this thread? I am very happy for these people, one reason because they will not be attending UCD and another reason because they will be attending another great school. we’re all in this college process together, and I feel like you have no right to say what you did. I am very offended by your comment, and I wish that you would apologize.</p>
