<p>It is possible to get into these really good schools with ~1200 SAT scores, but you need to have extraordinary circumstances. Even with extraordinary circumstances your chances would still be very low.</p>

<p>If you want to have a semi-decent shot at getting into Harvard or any other "top" school, you'll need to improve your SAT scores. At the very least you should be in the ~1300 range, or ~2000 using the new sat scale.</p>
