Do you know any student at Harvard
who got accepted with a low SAT score like my 1880?
(700 Math, 580 CR, 600 W)

I think I can improve to over 2000, but that would be my
third time taking it, and I would much rather spend time
working on essays than studying for the SAT again.

Well, I know that acceptance is based on a lot of other factors
but I want to find out if you know anyone who got into Harvard
with such a low SAT score.

So guys, please tell me...

Harvard's admissions patterns would suggest that they like people with high scores. There are very few people that have been admitted with SAT scores like that, and usually there is some other extenuating reason that the person needs to be admitted such as athletics or some institutional need. To give yourself a better shot, it would probably be safer to shoot for a higher score than that.

take the online SAT and/or ACT prep tests. they're only like 20 bucks a pop for THREE at least. that helped me raise my test scores by a lot, in a time efficient manner too. and i found myself more disciplined in finishing these tests than I would in a book.
