<p>I’m confused. I applied Regular Decision, but I got a letter from Villanova today acknowledging that while I had applied RD, I had been accepted Early Action. I got the big envelope and everything. Has anyone else heard of this occurring?</p>

<p>Abanana64: I read somewhere, either in Villanova’s viewbook or on their web site, that if a desirable prospective student applied before the EA deadline, even for RD, they might get advance notification of acceptance. Apparently that is what happened to you. Congrats!</p>
