<p>I don't think PSU looks at an applicant and decides whether he/she will do well in her preference major. Rather I think they just look at the entire applicant pool for each major area (business, AgSci, Science) and take the "cream of the crop" of applicants for that area. Those that are below the "average" of the rest of the applicants are given the chance to improve their academics via summer session or branch campuses.</p>
<p>Congrats! I got in a month or so ago, 3.8 gpa 2320 sats, as a liberal arts major. Soo Excited! can't wait to see you guys in the fall!</p>

Languages: Tamil-mother tongue, Telugu-2nd mother tongue, Hindi-can only read and speak a little- (Indian dialects), Russian-can speak and read Cyrillic, and Spanish…and Japanese ^.^* and im sending colleges me singing in russian and english ^O^*
Other factors: Completed 8 credit course for undergraduate biology in Harvard this summer and im sending hopkins this huge lab report i did on yeast…fun stuff…LOL</p>

<p>My HS junior son will be a 3.4-3.5 GPA, 2160 SAT. Looking to narrow down the choices and visit this summer.</p>
