<p>I got the ADS invite congratulating me on 'recent admission' before my admit letter, so that is odd.</p>

<p>Ya was accepted here, and live 5 minutes away. 26 ACT 3.9UW GPA. Hoping to get into michigan, but I applied really late. If I end up going would you guys recommend staying home or living in a dorm? My parents are paying if I were to choose a dorm.</p>
<p>Live in a dorm. You may have classes anywhere from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and you will probably have to get together with others for projects for classes. You will get to know more people. On the other hand, you may get more sleep at home.</p>
<p>If it isn't a financial burden - choose the dorm. But parents taking out a second mortgage? Don't do it.</p>
