Accepted into Syracuse!

<p>Hey guys, I was accepted to Syracuse today! I didn't know they would be releasing their decisions so soon!! This is awesome! Now I have a back-up if I decide I want to pursue Engineering!!! They admitted me to their combined enrollment program, which is sweet!</p>

<p>"Congratulations on your admission to the combined enrollment program in The College of Arts and Sciences and the L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science at Syracuse University for the fall semester, 2010."</p>

<p>ONE BIG QUESTION!!! Does this mean I have to dedicate to going to Syracuse in only 7 days!? I'm still waiting for decisions from other schools, how does that work!?:</p>

<p>"To reserve your place in the fall class, please submit the online Admission Acceptance Form (AAF) and any applicable advance payments no later than seven days from the date on this letter."</p>

<p>You can call into the other schools and tell them about your Syracuse deadline. Schools that have made their decision already may give you decisions early because of this. You can also ask Syracuse for a deadline. They might extend it if they know you’re waiting for other schools.</p>

<p>You need to call Syracuse and ask to extend the admission deadline.</p>

<p>That’s awk… Isn’t 7 days kind of short or is that normal/average for most schools?</p>
