Hey, I just wanted to let everyone know that I got off the waitlist, and I am super excited about being in c-ville next year :-D

My letter was dated May 11, and I got it in the mail May 13, completely out of the blue, right before I was getting ready for prom. :) . . . I double-checked on application status online a few days later, and it said that my status was that I was offered admission off the waitlist and that I should expect to receive a letter soon. So, the status must have changed right on or around May 11 . . . However, now, it says: "Admissions decisions are no longer available online. All future notifications will be made by mail." So my reccommendation for the really anxious/paranoid to check everyday now doesn't work, haha.

No, I didn't send UVA anything, although I would highly reccommend that other waitlisted students do so. I definitely had been planning to send them something, as I realized, a few weeks after finding out that I had been waitlisted, that I had forgotten to list my three jobs! I do wish that UVa had just accepted me regular decision, since my stats/EC's/etc definitely matched or exceeded many of the other students that were accepted from my school . . . at the very least, I wouldn't have lost my $350 for WM. Oh, well.

Best of luck to everyone!
