Just returned from the Accepted Day at BU. BU did a really good job organizing the event. Free parking in Boston was great. Parking lots were designated for specific colleges at BU. Signage was very good and students and staff were very friendly. They had a variety of options for seminars to attend. Professors were available for various majors to speak with as well as college advising. Great presentation from the Dean of Students and the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. We had scheduled an appointment with Financial Aid and they were quite helpful in explaining the various aid options and payment plans. Two delicious meals were served and they managed to set out enough stations so that there were not long lines. The campus was opened up so that we could visit on our own. We were able to see both dorms where most Freshmen live and see actual dorm rooms. Although we chose to tour the campus on our own, the college did offer tours run by tour guides. My son enjoyed speaking with current students, prospective students and staff. Any doubt in my mind that my son would not be comfortable at BU was erased. We are planning to re-visit one other school before we make a final decision but my son felt by the end of the day that he would really like to attend BU.

Awesome! I’m probably going to the open house on the 19th :)
