Accepted Student Days

Hi Everyone,

I got a likely letter from Dartmouth and an early acceptance packet from Williams. The Williams invitation covers my travel expenses to and from campus, overnight accomodations in student residences, and meals in the dining halls. But I have to RSVP no later than Thursday March 29th 4:00pm EST, which is before I find out my decisions from other colleges. As for Dartmouth, I assume they provide transporation assistance.

I do not want the Accepted Student Days of Dartmouth's and Williams' to conflict with my top choices'. To avoid as much conflict as possible, I was wondering if anyone knows the Accepted Student Days or when Spring Break is for the following schools:

Yale (top choices)
*Brown
*Duke
Harvard
Stanford
Princeton
Amherst
Wellesley
Pomona
UPenn
Columbia

As for my input:
Dartmouth- Dartmouth Dimensions Wednesday April 18, 2007 to Saturday April 21, 2007
Williams- Preview of Williams Saturday April 14, 2007 to Tuesday April 17, 2007

Also do most colleges provide transportation assistance?

Yale has Bulldog Days April 16-18

Namooangel, did you receive an invitation to dimensions with your likely? If not, how did you find the dates?

Amherst- April 22, 2007 (morning) - April 23, 2007

I think amherst, williams and dartmouth scheduled their open house in accordance with each other or soemthing

Duke's Accepted Days are one day only: April 6, 9, 16, 20, 23.

Wellesley is April 19-20.

^ the open house

If you don't mind me asking, why do you prefer Duke over Dartmouth? [I'm wavering between the two :)]

BUMP for Columbia and Penn.

Also curious about Brown's.
Thanks

just curious, do you think Williams schedules that RSVP date right before April 1st just to sort of bully you into going to their event instead of another? If so, how devious of them...

just rsvp and say your going, if you decide to go to another school's accepted student day just go. i mean they aren't going to revoke your admission because you didn't go despite the fact you rsvped.

Stanford's Admit Weekend is from April 19-21.
