If any accepted students would post their SAT II scores, that would be greatly appreciated :)

Bio: 680

They only look at two, right?

I think my best two are Latin (750) and Math I (720), although I guess my second highest score would either be History or Math II (both 730).

I was accepted for the class of 2012, but…

Math IIc: 800
Latin: 800
Physics: 700

Math2: 800
Chem: 790

I only took two…I sent in ACT w/ Writing and these SAT II’s

brown only requires two?

Most schools only require 2, if I remember correctly. Princeton used to require 3, though.

Harvard also wants three. Some schools (especially specialty programs) require specific subject tests, so you may need to submit different scores depending on the school (or you can just turn them all in and let them deal with it).

Biology M–700

US History 780
Math 2C 740
Chemistry 700

I took 3 for Georgetown.

I’m pretty sure if you submit ACT w/ Writing you don’t need any Subject Tests by the way, but I just sent my two in for extra information since they were pretty good.

Class of '12

US History 760

math2: 770

Were any of the above “hooked” in any way? Judging by what I’ve seen so far, 750+ seems to be the norm

Eh, if you wanted a broad view, if you click on applicant stats, then click on the usernames of those who will be attending or were accepted, they’ll usually post their SAT II’s. But for everyone who wants a concise view of them, here’s mine:

Math2:800
US History:800
Chem:760

Just a good general tip for SATIIs, try and take them as soon as you can after the school year that you took your subject (If you’re only gonna take honors chem, take the chem SATII right after that… if you’re gonna take AP your junior year, wait till the end of junior year). TRY your best not to take any in the fall, because unless it’s a language like Chinese or something that you know and use, you’re going to forget stuff, and probably hurt your score.

That’s good advice. I took bio during the spring immediately after taking the AP bio and scored well…I took it again the following fall to see if I could improve—well, let’s just say that my score dropped about 80 points. Then again, I took the English SAT II immediately after AP English Lang, then I took it again that following fall and my score went up (but that test is mostly on how fast you read). But yea, I agree that it’s best to take these tests immediately after you have taken the class.

@ noreally, I don’t think I had a hook and as you can see my scores were relatively low… haha. Definitely aim for high scores, but don’t stress if they’re not what you hoped because it’s not all about test scores and numbers.
