So i heard that if you live on campus, you’re not allowed a parking permit. plus, living off campus will probably be cheaper…

are you a freshman? I thought this only applied to freshman.

This is a hard question… college really explodes when you have an environment to meet new people. It’s worth the couple thousand more in money to live on campus and meet new folks… and network… and then move off to live by your own.

This is a philosophical question that only you can answer… but in the scope of life, $2K - $3K more is but a bump in the road… totally worth it in my opinion to make college a worth-while experience.

Just a thought.

@kalamansi: no, i’m not a freshman… transferring as a junior from a 4 year.

@ventureman: true, i’ve already had the dorm experience though since (again) im transferring from a 4 yr. but i do see your point. are you also a junior transfer?

my friend is a junior transfer and he’s living in the dorms. i think it’s better because most people i know have established social connections and such but since he’s new, it would be a good idea for him to live around other new people.
i don’t know if the parking permit thing applies to transfers as well as freshmen, but i know freshmen can’t have parking permits in the dorms.
