So Totally greatful/happy/hysterically confused!

I want to be a doctor.

So I'll keep it brief...

George Mason or UVA? Where will I have better chances of getting into Med as a pre-med undergrad.

Brutal Advice = Greatly appreciated.

GOD IS GREAT :D

Also, Dean J, thank you so much, your advice has kept me sane these last few months, and without all the things I read on this forum, I probably wouldn't have had such a good application. Greatly appreciate everyone who has helped me get to this point :D

UVA definitely. Their medical acceptance rate is about 66% overall while GMU’s is aroound the national average (about 43%). UVA also has its own medical school and has good relations with MCV and name recognition never hurts.

1) Thank God ( if you believe in him , like I do)

2) Sing and Dance

3) Then at school, BRAG , but you have to do this slickly so it doesnt get annoying or arrgoant

I’m debating between uVa(which I got accepted to) or Georgetown (which I have yet to hear back from). My career goal is to also become a doctor/surgeon. Someone mind persuading me towards uVa? Or Georgetown? Both are excellent schools.

What do you mean what now! Start dancing or something!

Either way, Georgetown and UVA oar both amazing schools.

What now? Heh…pay your deposit? ;)

Seriously speaking, from what I have heard about Med. School admissions- you want to get the highest GPA possible, so consider that (where you will do the best) when choosing.

You want the highest gpa and mcat possible but your place of undergrad also matters. A 3.5 at columbia is better than say a 3.5 at vcu.
